Ok, so I recently purchased a G-Tech G-Drive. I have to say, great design, but this thing is unbearably loud! I opened it up to find out that the hard drive is mounted with aluminum brackets, no rubber cusioning anywhere! Does anyone know of a comparable hard drive that looks good, but is quiet? I was looking at the OWC aluminum ones, but I am not sure how the drives mount, and how loud they are. Also, I would not like a hard drive with a "one touch" feature, just a plain old simple drive, that looks good like the gtech. Thanks!

I have the OWC Mercury Elite Pro-AL FW800/400/USB 2.0 and it doesn't make a sound. I mount it on by the left side of my G5 standing up just like the pictures. The FW800 is really fast and OWC even supplied all three cables!
