External Soundcards

I just got a brand new eMac.
Dumped my pc.
I only kept my surround speakers 5.1.
Now i don't have a pc to play dvd's with surround sound, i don't realy use my surround set up to 100% anymore.
So i was wondering if there might be a External Soundcard that would give me 5.1 surround sound again with all dvd's and movie files if possible in AC-3 5.1
I hope there is!

Might look into something like this: http://www.macworld.com/2003/01/reviews/maudiosonica/ ... There are probably other solutions available. Depends on whether your 5.1 speakers have something like an SPDIF input port.

hmm..... okay
i've found one of M-Audio the Sonica Theater.
Does one of you have a M-audio Sonica Theater and can tell me the good and bad parts of it?
And if there are more of these External Soundcards with 5.1 or higher, please let me know. It must be able to work on a Apple eMac ofcourse.
