External Speakers

I recently installed Leopard and now my external speakers do not work. They happen to be harmon/kardon brand. I can see from all the other problems that everyone is having that I should not be surprised by this. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, if you do.

Am interested as to whether you've solved your problem. I have Altec Lansing external speakers and have had same problem when moving up to the latest iMAC and Leopard.
