extract part of a CD band to iTunes

I need to extract part of a cd band -- it is a long symphony and I need only 4 minutes of a 12 minute band for a funeral service--want to extract it into iTunes so I can burn it onto a CD for the service, and I don't even know if this is possible-- any help greatly appreciated.

You could import the CD to iTunes (or just import the one track), and then do a "Get Info" (Command - I) on the file that you need. Under the "Options" tab, check the "Start Time" and "Stop Time" and adjust them how you need them.

I believe this setting carries over when you burn a CD as well.
