Favourite CLI ftp client?

I have been playing around with various command-line ftp clients.

So far yafc gets my vote (available via Fink and sourceforge).

It's great ; It has SSH (sftp) support, a nice variety of local commands, and my personal favourite, tabbed file- and path-name completion!

Very cool.

No contest: NcFTP.

Been using it since 1995 on a variety of *nix boxes. I don't know where one can get a compiled binary, but I don't care since I compile my own.

I use Transmit. (I know, I know, it's not command-line, but it's an excellent FTP program with a UI.)

I second the recommendation of ncftp. I have also used it since around '95 and it's still great. Tab-completion, most commands for local stuff simply preceded by 'l', and much more. But it doesn't do ssl.
