Finder version.

I've got OS 10.6.3; currently newest OS. Then why is the version of Finder.app at 10.6.4 which isn't even out yet? (/System/Library/CoreServices)

Just curious!
 
Finder is just an application - and the version number for that app has little do do with the OS X system version number. It may be updated more frequently than the system (such as through a security update), or might not updated when other parts of the system are updated. A different version number means nothing in this case.
