.FIR locked volume

help!

trying to intsall a firmware update for my camera.

using stuffit and a .fir file.

am getting an error message that the destination folder is on a locked volume.

have repaired permissions and looked at the folder and opened it up so everyone can change it and no joy! any ideas???

What is the exact procedure you're using to "intsall[sic] a firmware update" on your camera? What exactly are you doing with the .FIR file and StuffIt? What is the manufacturer's recommended procedure for updating the firmware, and are you following the exact procedure?

Please provide more detail about the exact process you're using from start to finish, and when and where you're encountering trouble.

What folder are you trying to do something with, and where is it located? On your computer? On the camera?
