Firewall Issues

I recently installed a new DSL modem on my computer (I had been accessing the internet through a friend's wireless network). After getting everything set up and working, I activated MacOS X's built in firewall. Suddenly I was unable to load webpages. Some sites, such as www.versiontracker.com, would still load the headers, but the page content would never load. Other webpages wouldn't load anything. Cheking the firewall log showed repeated entries of the form:
Code:
Oct 15 16:18:26 Macavengers-Computer ipfw: 12190 Deny TCP 209.112.195.210 66.230.86.79 in via ppp0 (frag 17799:32@1440)
does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.

Oh, I should probably add that this problem ONLY affects web browsing (port 80, I believe). Other internet services, such as instant messaging, POP and IMAP e-mail receiving, and SMTP sending work just fine.
