Flash Plug-in

Upon installing Macromedia Flash 8, I mistakenly allowed it to install an outdated version of the flash player plugin, now, Safari always asks me to install the missing plug-in.
The version available for download from Macromedia seems to be outdated (same problem).
Is the "current" working plug-in located anywhere on the OS X install cd?
Thanks.

I'm trying to run This Week on XM's XM Radio Online feature on my Intel Mac Book Pro. Although I have installed the Flash plugin, the software is still giving me the blue missing plugin cube.

The software is obviously a browser wrap of some sort. So, I did a Flash test on Firefox, and Flash works fine. Then, I did a Flash test on Safari and it didn't work. I finally got Flash to work in Safari by telling Safari to Run on Rosetta, but now Safari passes the Flash test whether that box is checked or not.

STILL, I can't get rid of the blue cube in This Week on XM. Any help?
