Folder icons

Here's what I'd like to be able to do. On the document part of the Dock I want to put folder icons so I don't have to be constantly opening the HD (or little house). I'm thinking of the folder icon Microsoft uses for Office. It's a regular folder icon with a little do-dad stuck on to make it unique. If they can do so should I be able. Anyone know how?

Just drag the Office folder icon to your Dock near the bottom, or drag the Word, Excel, etc icons to your Dock.

If you want a particular folder, file, or app in the Dock, then just drag your choice to the Dock. If you want to customize a folder icon, you can find an icon that you like, get info for that, copy the icon, and paste on your desired file/folder. An icon in the Dock will (usually) change to reflect your changed icon.
You can find a huge assortment of replacement/custom icons at iconfactory.com
There's a lot of other sites that offer a variety of custom icons.

Let's say I just want an ordinary folder icon with a word on it. Is there a way to get the word onto the folder icon?
