Is there anyway to change wherever Panther displays folders/files whether it be in Finder, Dreamweaver MX 2004, going to File --> Open in a program, etc. so all folders are listed at the top then the file names are listed beneath them? I really hate Winblows but this is one feature I really wish would be available on a Mac. I have several directories that have hundreds of files and it takes FOREVER to scroll through every file to look for the folder if I can't remember the name.

Any Finder window can be sorted in a variety of ways to make it easier to find a particular file. Some use Column View with good advantage for quickly finding files (better than List View). Open/Save dialogs, OTOH, need a 3rd party utility of some kind. Default Folder X or PathFinder should let you do what you would like to see in open/save dialogs.
Just a hint that I use that is even helpful on Windows: Keep your created files in a folder named for the purpose, so you can find the file easily, regardless of the task.
