Format HFS+ to NTFS?

I'm using Windows and I formatted my Western Digital 500gb external hard drive to HFS+ format so it was compatible with my XBOX360. I am searching for a way to format it back to NTFS without much luck. Is it possible? I used MacDrive to format it to HFS+ in the first place but there does not seem to be a reversal method using that program.

If you have MacDrive already (which allows you to use Mac formatted drives on your Windows system) - why would you need to change from HFS+ to NTFS?

I was of the belief it would work in this format for both my PS3 and 360. I was wrong and I would prefer my PS3 to be able to read it as it has much more capability when it comes to viewing different video formats

You can use the "Disk Management" function of "Computer Management" in Windows (under "Administrative Tools") to re-format and/or re-partition the drive back to NTFS.

Of course, reformatting removes any and all data from the drive you're reformatting, so make sure that, if there's anything on that drive you want to keep, that you copy it or back it up to another location first.
