There's a few. www.versiontracker.com has a 5 star rating for RBrowserLite. I can recommend Interachy (but it's shareware) and the Terminal (but that's unix).

If you are a student, you can get a Fetch license for free AFAIK.

How's Fetch these days? I used to love it but gave up on it 2 years ago when it fell over a lot on Mac OS X 10.2.something...

also, you can ftp with terminal if you don't need the gui.

I use Fetch in Panther and have no problems. Simple to use.

Fetch works fine with Panther, as both bobw and I can verify -- however, it hasn't been updated since 10.2 was released, so if you're expecting bells and whistles and SFTP and anything other than basic, FTP connectivity, look elsewhere.

Thanks for all of the information, this is a great forum. I personally use the terminal to ftp I am somewhat of a UNIX guy, buy my users need the easiest non-terminal way to do this. I am looking at the Rbrowserlite, so far that looks exactly like what we need.

I, personally, like Transmit from Panic Software, but it's not free. I don't think it's time-limited, and for basic FTP functionality, it should work fine.

For Terminal use, I encourage to use ncftp. You can find it here: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/6301 - Much better than the normal command line ftp client.

I've used Fetch for a while and I find it to be perfect for what I need.
