Fresh OSX install - but where's iPhoto gone?

Hey folks, A little while ago I reinstalled OSX (10.4) to overcome a Filevault problem and now I'd like to reimport my backed up photo's into iPhoto, but I can't find it on my system...

I also can't find the .app or any other type of file on the OSX disk to install it. Did I miss a step to put iPhoto on the Mac when installing OSX?

How do I get it on there now?

It's all a bit of a mystery to me, any help would be greatly appreciated

iPhoto is not free software, and is not included with any recent OS X install. You can install iPhoto from the restore DVD that came with your Mac, or from an iLife installer DVD.
