FTP question.

I have setup my mac as a FTP server and am able to connect and download files from the ftp via a PC but cannot place any files on the ftp site. Any ideas?

What exactly happens when you try and place FTP files on the Mac? Any error messages? Permission messages? Please elaborate, as "cannot place any files on the ftp site" can mean just about anything and does not give us enough information to try and troubleshoot the problem.

I was able to get it working by going to the root folder as apposed to being in the sub directory
