G4 digital audio/300gb drive seen as only 128

Have G4 digital audio/466/OS 10.3.9

Installed fourth drive on SIIG Ultra PCI/133 card. System only recognizes 128 Gb's. I thought that the problem would be solved with 10.3.9 and the PCI card.

Am I missing something else?

Thanks,

What kind of drive is it? Do you have it jumpered correctly? Some drives have a specific set of jumper settings, then in addition, also have "alternate" jumper settings for compatibility with certain hardware. Check to make sure the hard drive is jumpered absolutely correct.

Do you have any other drives on that card that are >128GB and are recognized correctly?

It's a Maxtor Ultra 16 ata133 7200 rpm.
Yes, I have the drive jumpered correctly. I went to their website and the instructions for that are simple.
I have also moved the drive around on the SIIG Ultra ATA/133 PCI card ribbon cable (both as master one time alone and slave another time with the boot drive).
In any case I have tried every configuration I could and it still says 128.
I have done some googling and this is what I have come up with:
The PCI card (the only PATA card SIIG makes for the Mac) should take care of the 48 bit LBA compliance problem (I am awaiting an e-mail response from SIIG on this) That's how it's advertised right? "Breaks the 137 gb barrier!"
I did get an e-mail from Maxtor tech support telling me that it must be the PCI card that is only 28 LBA so I will be curious to hear from SIIG on this.
Otherwise I can't see what it could be. Do I need to format it or partition it in a certain way?
