G4 Powerbook constantly crashing after Leopard Upgrade

I have a 15inch G4 1.25Ghz Powerbook which I just recently upgraded to Leopard. Since then, it is constantly crashing.

Mostly, it just never wakes up from sleep and I have to hold the power button for ages to get it to restart. Sometimes it sounds like it's restarting (the Apple startup sound comes on) but the computer then stops and does nothing.

When there's Software Updates that require a restart, the computer shuts down and never restarts again. Once again I have to hold the power button down for a good 20-30 seconds to get it to work.

The error message "OSX quit unexpectedly, send error message...."

It's getting very very annoying.

Help??

The upgrading of Leopard is problematic at best. To fix this is not easy or quick. You best bet would be to put in the Leopard Install disk and run an Archive & install. This will put you out.

Remember to make a backup before you do anything.

Good Luck.

If I do a clean install, I would need to reinstall MS Office 2008. But can I use the same product key that I originally used to install it a couple a weeks back? I don't want to use up our last one out of the three that came with it.
