I've just bought an additional 120gb SATA HD for my G5/DC 2ghz.

When I went to install it however, I noticed that it didn't 'slot' into the bay in the same way that the factory supplied HD does.

Is there some kind of adaptor that allows it to do this. Presently the additional HD is just kind of sitting there, I'd really like it to be secured in the drive bay the same as the factory supplied HD..does anyone know how this is done..??
 
There are small black round-head screws that attach to the side of the HD. If you slide out the top HD, you will see these.
Then, look forward of the hard drive, and you should see a set of 4 of those special screws in the frame. That's why they are there.
If you got your G5 new, they should still be there.
If this was used when you bought it, then the screws could be missing now. You should be able to get some at an Apple store.
