garageband gone!

Hi all,

Ok I have deleted garageband along with ilife. I have my mac os X disks (2). IF I reboot/reinstall, will this wipe everything I currently have (photos/work) off my macbook?

No, you won't normally lose anything, unless you choose to erase the drive at the beginning of the reinstall...
If you have the set of 2 grey DVDs that came with your Mac, the optional software, including iLife/Garageband will be on disk #2, so you can start your Mac, then insert disk 2, and browse into that disk for the optional software installer. You can make an optional install of just Garageband, if you like.
