i haven't used safari in a while, but today i fired it up, and when i got to the capitolone login page (which has my saved username/pw), the keychain dialog came up to ask whether or not i wanted to use the stored password.

well, check out the dialog i got instead:

any ideas on how to fix this? a simple reinstall of safari (and trashing prefs) didn't do the trick.

You may have an error in your Keychain, try downloading and running the Keychain First Aid utility (you can find this @ Versiontracker.com)... Or, there's only 3 choices on the Keychain window Don't allow, allow once and Always Allow. What happens if you just click on one of the allows (you should be able to figure out one correctly)

I've had this happen to me in a few of the very early developer previews, although I haven't seen it happen since the Public Beta. It is basicaly an error in how the window is being rendered in the window manager. It is highly unlikely that it's an issue with your keychain.

Is it still doing this?

trashing the prefs, logging out and logging back in seemed to fix it for now....

i haven't noticed it in any other apps, but it entirely possible that it's not safar-specific.

guess i'll check back in if it happens again....
