I spilled Gatorade Mac Book about a month ago.
It started working right about a week ago but the back light is not
working. I can see the desktop screensaver but the apple is not lit. I
was told that the video card on the logic board responsible for the
backlight is fried. Do you think that there is something that can be done
to fix it?

Didn't you just post a link to a good repair shop in London?
They should be able to fix the damage caused by a liquid spill
If not, the fix is replacing the logic board.
here's your own previous link, in case you missed it... :D

Repairs on logic boards can be done at very low price at applerepairsinlondon.co.uk

I believe they would be able to do this. I just enquired to get more information regarding this Issue.

I have already given then for the repair.

Applerepairsinlondon are doing this at a very Low cost...

Don't you think you might find a few repair places a bit closer to where you live in India, fazlurrehman?
Tough luck with Gatorade. Any sugary liquid is bad for electronics, and the spills are not covered by warranty as they are user-influenced.

Your right Giaguara. Why do some folks sip coffee with their machine, uh?!
