Get the usage of individual core using command in Mac OS

How to get the usage each core on multi-core support Mac machine using terminal command with guest login ?


Please guide me.

I don’t think Guest Login has all the privileges as an admin user.

It has to be coded into the application to concurrently use both cores. Only a select few shareware programs do this. One I know that does is Handbrake (you must use the current VLC to use HandBrake).

Also if a program will use 100% it will go to 200% on a dual core system (if it is not coded to both cores) and it will go past a 100% to 200%. Understand now?

There isn't a single, straightforward command that will output the usage of each core on Mac OS X.
