Getting favicon to work in Safari?

My graphic designer has built me a neato favicon.ico for my Web site, and I am testing it by dropping it on http://www.chatter.net/ (the rest of that site is ugly and out of date), but I can't get it to show up. Anyknow know what I might be doing wrong? You can certainly http://www.chatter.net/favicon.ico look at the graphic and see it works; is it a bad graphic format??

It shows up on my URL bar in Safari on both your links.

We've been working on it. The latest mystery is why the graphic is in color, but the favicon is in greyscale. Thanks, though, Bob!

Would someone mind looking at otisproductions.com to see if my favicon shows up? It doesn't for me, but I can call it up here.

If it doesn't show up for you, can anyone offer a tip as to why not?

Try clearing your Cache.

Nope. Cleared the Cache, reset Safari. Still doesn't show up.

Safari can be a butt. I had the same issue with my website.

Try Safari Icon Manager.
