I have a macbook 1.83 ghz Intel Core Duo with 1.25 GB DDR2 SDRAM and GMA 950 graphics chipset with 64 MB of shared system memory. I need to know whether or not I will be able to run Autodesk Inventor (through bootcamp) on it. I am just learning the program, so I would not be doing any large projects. I have just heard that there are some problems with the GMA 950 graphics and 3D software. Thanks a lot for your help.

Try asking Autodesk that question. That's a lot of money for software, and you need to be certain that it works on the hardware that you use before you purchase. If you are spending several thousand dollars for software, the company should be providing enough support to help you decide which computer is best for that use.
