google earth loads but no sound

Just downloaded google earth 5.01173. I tried taking a tour of the program but can't get any sound. Sound is working on my Mac otherwise. Any suggestions?
 
If you record a tour in Google Earth, you have the choice to record sound with that tour. The built-in tour does not have any audio. There are on-line tutorials for Google Earth, that have audio tracks, but are simply video tutorials, and not part of Google Earth, per se. Those would have audio that might need browser plug-ins. This is probably what the OP needs.
