Google Maps API and GPS/UTM coordinates?

Sorry for the technical query in the Cafe but could not find right forum for this. My Search & Rescue team wants to use Google Maps with a GPS/UTM coordinate overlay transperancy. I did a Googe search for

Google Maps API GPS

and did not find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction? Basically, we want to print out Google Maps and Satellite images and have the GPS/UTM coordinates overlayed on top of it. Thanks for any help.

I am not sure if anything will help to what your are exactly looking for. However I did come across this MacOSXHints for Google Maps that have links inside it to other Google Map hints. Good luck in your endeavor.

I also came across this hint for GPS+Google too.
