Graphic Converter patch

I have a hacked version of GC. I finally decided to obtain a legal serial number. After downloading a fresh version of the program I still get the warning that I'm using an illegal version without the possibility of entering the legal serial number. There is obviously a patch deep in the system that needs to be removed in order to allow me to proceed with the correct registration process.

How do I go about looking for this patch? Do I use the terminal to locate it?? What commands do I need to use??

Try 'About Graphic Converter...' - there should be a button to unregister. I do seem to recall that I ran into some problems with this, but I can't remember the exact solution.

delete the file 'com.lemkesoft.graphicconverter.plist' you can find this in your user/library/preferences/ folder. But, the 'unregister this copy' when you go to about GraphicConverter, should do the same thing....
