Greasy iBook/G4 displays

A long time ago, a colleague was using Photoshop on my G4 Powerbook and felt the need (for what ever reason) to dab his fingers on the CRT screen, leaving smudges everywhere.

This was bad enough, but my daughter recently smothered jam (aka. jelly in the US) on my iBook display.

I therefore have stains on both screens that can't be removed with a dry soft cloth. The stains on the iBook are bad enough to see when the display is full on.

I have searched this forum for previous threads on the problem of cleaning displays without success.

Does anyone know the best way to achieve smudge-free displays?

There is a medical/computer parts company that sells limited computer gear called RadTech. They have listed on their products page a product for cleaning LCDs called OminiCleanz. If you read the description for the product you will see you can get the cleaning cloth included if you wanted. I highly recommend to get the extra cloth if you wear glasses.
