I connect to my little sisters iBook everyday and we use iChatAV to video conference...never a single problem. Well starting today, we get this error:

2004-09-06 19:38:18 -0400: Erica Korff is busy in another conference.
Tried to send UDP SIP "invite" to the following IP addresses and ports:

no matter how many times we get that, we've both tried restarting...unplugging and plugging the camera in again...turning it on/off....all that stuff. We've tried connecting about 10 times.

I press accept, and then i'll get a msg saying she has not responded, and the same thign happens on the other end. And she isn't in another video conference

Any suggestions?!
Help!
Thanks a lot

Edit:
I can send her files...so i can make a connection to her computer, just not video.

Also, i can do a video conference with another friend...so..its not me

Does you or your little sister have a router? I ask this because Linksys likes to block Mac video ports with every firmware upgrade to their routers.

Now, if one or the other has a router (or firewall enabled) then you may want to check out Apple's posting of "Well known TCP and UDP Ports Used By Apple Software Products". This way you could make sure those ports are opened.

Maybe you and your sister could try Repairing Permissions with Disk Utility. I would put money on it that the problem is at your sister's computer. So you should have her Restart her computer. That's all I can think of right now. Good Luck.
