Help with Mac OS X Minimizing effects

I recently downloaded a software that permits to a different complete minimizing effet. With F11 key, instead of pushing every windows out of the screen, the windows are all minimized into a small rectangle in the lower left corner of my screen (see the screenshot). I noticed that this is sometimes making the whole system crashing down and freezing. I think, by mistake, I erased the software but the effect is still there. Does anyone know how to turn it off and switch for the original MacOsX desktop minimizing effect? Or the name of the software, then I could download it and switch back to the other effect. Really, a Mac computer that crashes in annoying.
Thanks

In order to more effectively hide windows, you can hold option and click the desktop (don't click any other windows, the dock, or programs) and the windows of the program you are currently in disappear. Click the program icon to make them reappear. It's handy when you want to keep your desktop "tidy". :)
