How can I open the CD tray on iMac without OS X?

Hello,

I've recently replaced my hard drive in my old iMac G4 (rounded base), and need to install OS X from the CD. One problem - I can't open the CD tray without OS X installed!

Does anyone know a way to do it? I can't see a little pin hole on the CD Tray to manually open it as I would on a normal CD Tray . . .

Hold down the mouse button and keep it held down immediately after booting -- the CD drive should open.
