I want to test whether this actually works or not:
http://www.macosx.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35164
It's my little workaround for using SaH with a RAM disk.
The only thing is, I can't actually tell whether the hard disk is still being written to or not. I'm using iPulse to monitor my system, and I guess since my RAM disk is mounted in /Volumes/ it thinks it's a real disk, and reports constant disk usage.
Are there any cute little apps that will flash something on my screen when my physical hard disk is accessed? I remember a Norton DOS app called DiskLight that flashed an arrow in the corner of the DOS shell: anything like that for OS X.II.VI ?
