How did they do this?

Hi,

I am trying to edit two feeds I have filmed of a lecture, and was wondering how I could replicate something done in Apple's webcasts. Please check the attached picture too see what I'm talking about.

Is it possible to do this, have one feed (of the lecturer) in one part of the screen, and another (of the board the lecturer is writing on) in another part? I already have the two feeds, just wondering if I could arrange them in this way, easily.

Thanks for the help

They use Final Cut Pro, or some other medium- to high-end video editing software. What software are you using to edit the movies?

Could use VJAMM to do this live without a pre-edit, but it only runs on a PC... haven't tried it on Virtual PC.

I was thinking the new iMovie, since it has lots of templates where you could drag and drop clips, but I think you're suggesting its more complicated than that.

If you know where I can get a tutorial to do this on Final Cut Pro (or any other Mac application), I could use it.

Thanks for the help
