How do I disable the internet connect reminder in OSX 10.4.11?

It gives me a reminder window with the option to remain connected or not, and if I don't do anything, it disconnects me without my wanting it to.

This occurs about every 3-5 minutes. I've looked at all options I can affect, but none seem to take this infuriating feature off! HELP!

I think I found it. Once I put "0" minutes in the prompt, then deselected it, it seems now to be working. What a stupid feature!

Actually a very useful feature for dial-up. Some areas wouldn't have a local number to use, so you would be connecting through a long-distance line, accumulating phone charges while you are connected. That your computer reminds you that you are still connected is a Good Thing™
If you need to turn that setting off, no need to set it to zero, just unselect it....
