How do I open RAR files?

I have no idea how to open these pesky files. I'm sick of having to do it on my buddies PC. Any suggestions?

Use one of the programs here

StuffIt Expander will also open .rar files (at least StuffIt Deluxe does -- I don't see why Expander wouldn't either).

I use RAR Expander - its free and it works fine.
