How do I repair permissions in 10.1 ?

How do I repair permissions in 10.1 ?

I know how to do it in 10.2 but how do I do it in 10.1 ???

You don't. It was introduced in 10.2. I'm sure that it's a simple batch job of looking at certain files and folders and comparing them to a database of known permissions, then fixing them as needed. This feature doesn't exist in 10.1.

well it exists in 10.1.5.

You have to download the disk first aid utility from the apple website to do it.

Hwever you have to be updated to 10.1.5

I'm in 10.1.5. But I don't find the Disk First Aid utility on Apple's site and the old utility that is on the CD doesn't do it.

I've found it, it's named "Repair Privileges Utility 1.1"
