How do *you* partition your drive?

You know, we have 3 Dell machines at work whose hard drives crapped out. They're all those ultra-slim 3.5" hard drives. Pieces of crap, if you ask me.

Apple is MUCH better at producing a compact machine than Dell is. Apple at least uses good parts -- Dell's compact parts are so failure-prone it's ridiculous.
 
So you do know what I mean!

But Dell Dimension desktops are even't suppose to be compact by design! They're suppose to be full sized, mid-tower ATX boxes, workstations even. What hurts even more is those ultra-slim hard drives are Maxtors! I had a lot of faith in Maxtor.
 
maxtor make many good drives though. the 6GB that came with my B&W has never given me a problem. my friend has a 30Gb maxtor thats rock solid also. I personally would never buy anything but maxtor or western digital.
