How rename Mac OS X's .app executable files

hi all

How can i rename Mac OS X application's(.app) executable file where store in Contents/MacOS?
I rename in info.plist and MacOS directory but application does not execute ...

In fact i want to rename process name of application.

any idea?
 
Are you trying to rename an app that belongs to you (and that you wrote?) Otherwise, you may encounter copyright or ownership problems. The original owner usually has reference to the name, and often the rights to that name in the user license for that app.

What is your purpose for changing the name of an app (which might even cause problems with that app, or with other apps that you might use)?
 
No any purpose ... only for practice. i have application's source.
Is there any way to rename without re-compile? if no,could you explain how rename and compile again?
