How to add items to the menu bar

Hi All

Just wondering how one adds items to the Mac menu Bar (top right) or if there are add-on apps that I have to install to enable this.

Th application as to be designed (programmed) to go into the Finder Menu. My favorite menu items are Meteorologist (Intel version), Alarm Clock 2 and Apple's Script Menu.

There are lot of utilities that give you customizable menus. I'm a huge fan of Butler. I also like to use Apple's own AppleScript menu, which can be enabled in AppleScript Utility (located in "/Applications/AppleScript/"). Both let you put your own items into the menus.

Alias Menu allows you to add as many items to the Menu bar as will fit. Unfortunately it is only available for PPC and has still not been optimized for Tiger (though it basically works okay.)
