Hello
Can anyone tell me how can I get a vpn connexion? I can find finder, then go, then applications but I cannot find the button 'internet connection'. I have a macbook air

Thanks a lot

You set up VPN connections in the "Network" pane of the System Preferences.

Click the little "add" plus sign at the bottom of your network interfaces list, and choose "VPN" as the interface. Then, set up the VPN accordingly (PPTP, L2TP, etc.).

Hi diablo

Can you explain me the steps from the beginning? When I go to the system preferences it just shows me the web I am connected to. it doen't say anything of VPN.
I go to finder then applications then to system preferences but there is nothing about vpn,

1) Open "System Preferences"
2) Click on the "Network" icon
3) Look at the bottom of the list of network interfaces on the left-hand side of the window -- there's a few buttons, one is a "+" sign, another a "-", and a third, a "cog wheel."
4) Click the "+".
5) Select "VPN" next to "interface" in the window that slides down.
6) Select your VPN type in "VPN Type:" -- what you choose here depends on what kind of VPN you're trying to connect to. The system administrator of the network you're trying to connect to should give you this information.
7) Configure your PPTP or L2TP VPN accordingly in the window after you click "OK." Again, what you put in the configuration depends on the type of VPN you're trying to connect to -- your system administrator will know what to put in the configuration section.
