hello folks,

My name is Jc and I am looking for a web page designer for my church website.

www.templofuentedevida.org but currently nothing is coming up, the guy who did it for me didn't give me access to make change and it looks like it was shut down by a virus.

would any one help me in creating one, its for my church. (non-profit organization)..

I don't want to be rude, but it's a little presumptuous of you to register on this forum, and write your very first post requesting someone to create a website for you (for free, too, by the sound of it).

You say "...currently nothing is coming up". Does this mean you once DID have a website, and it has disappeared? If so, I very much doubt it was a virus.
 
I create webpages... you can contact me here and I'll quote you a price on what you'd like.

I doubt you'll find anyone here willing to do it for free, though... and if you do, just remember: you get what you pay for...

Also, this should be posted in the classifieds section, if I'm not mistaken. This section of the forum is for questions and answers about all aspects of design (web design, print design, etc.) -- not a place to post a want-ad for a web designer.
 
Thank you for your reply. Yes, the website was up and running but now is down or when you hit the link nothing comes up.

blank page. the designer who did it it is not giving me any update of what happen since also is hosting this site for me.

Thats why I am looking for some one that can help me out. I love php websites!

I see from checking register.com that you are the owner of your website. Your website expires May 2, 2006 so renew your registration as soon as possible.

And, you might consider calling your Web Host (whichever company hosts your website) to change the password to access your site via ftp. Then you take full control of your website and can then hire someone else to design for you knowing your data is secure.
 
i will renew as soon as possible.

Now, the designer who did it for me also did the hosting. what I need is to find a hosting provider then web designer to work on.

I currently looking for a hosting provider which i will through register.com

but still i need the someone to design.

Are you able to access your own site via ftp client? If not, you'll have to contact your old designer in order to gain access to your files and your site. Hopefully he's not holding it hostage for some reason and will behave professionally…

And DON'T host through Register.com. They overcharge for their services, well, I get domain names for $14 through my favorite web host instead of $35 through register.com, if that's any indication: www.newtechadvisors.com.
 
I don't have access via ftp client, he hosted through one of this account but hever gave the me the access.

So, do you think you can help me desiging the webpage for my church? I would really apreciate you help in advance if you would.
 
Your first order of business is to get your ftp codes from your host/designer. This may not be easy.

I'd consider doing your site if you provide specs and some more information. Click my icon and send me an email.
