So, im not exactly sure how to find the right airport card for my powerbook g4 15in titanium mercury 500ghz, i thought that i could put my airport extreme out of my 12in powerbook 1.33ghz but it looks like the slots to plug it are different, im trying to look on ebay but im lost on what i need to get, it looks like it would be something like an IDE pluggin, it has the black antenna wire to plug in tho, so can someone give me a link to a compatible airport card? or am i just not finding the right slot? should my 12in extreme card work in it?

thank you

Nope, the Airport Extreme is newer than your Titanium PowerBook. It will take the older Airport card, which you can find on eBay, I suppose. As you can see the connector is different. The Airport Extreme card is a type of card-edge connector. The older Airport card is a 2-row connector, similar to a PCMCIA card connector (but not quite!)
And the antenna connectort on your PowerBook is too large to fit in the Airport Extreme card.

Yeah thanks, i think i found the one i need on ebay, its called airport original or something like that, but your right, the airport extreme cards are all different, it was kinda hard to find the one that i needed. you guys are so fast at helping out, thanks alot

No, you shouldn't need anything - just the card. That's assuming you have the correct Airport card. It would be the same one that this thread pointed out. The antenna will be tucked inside your PowerBook, near the bracket where the Airport is installed. You have to remove the bottom cover on your PowerBook, and the Airport installs right near the main battery.
