I want to change the look of the default folder...

I want to change the look of the default folder. Is there a program that will do that or a step by step?

I remember being able to do this with ResEdit in OS9.

You can change as little or as much as you like with CandyBar.

Thanks for the info folks. On the other hand, can't I simply change the icns within the system, or is it difficult?

Yes you can do a manual hack but CandyBar is way more easy and safe. Plus I think there is a free trial period, so why risk meddling with system permissions and stuff when there is a fool-proof piece of ShareWare already out there?
