. That mean I cant chat with friends? I checked preference and show that i have 2mbps and everything look good but why can't I able to chat with 4 friends? We did test didn't work at all? Any idea?

I already delete all perference in System and user and nothing happened. Any auggest?

Hm. Like you, I can't make a rhyme to it... It should, erh, work. Maybe try trashing iChat's prefs and start over? Try creating a test user and try there? Well, the basics of OS X troubleshooting, I guess...

Good idea.. I created other account and test it showed piles video icon. Its very interesting. So I went back to find preference in User/Library/Preference and removed whole ichatav preference. Then I fired up iChatav and showed new Ichatav but it still have my information on it. I couldn't figure how to remove my information on ichatav. It still show single video icon. Any Idea.

Thanks

I think it has to do with who is allowed to host a multiple video chat, and who can't host a multiple chat (only participate). I am only guessing.

Yes. The multiple panes show that you are able to participate in multiple video/audio conferences. I'm gonna list a bunch of stuff from iChat's Help Book here:

Hosting a multiperson video conference
iChat AV for Mac OS X v10.4 supports video chatting with up to three buddies at once. To do this, one buddy "hosts" the video conference, and the others participate. Everyone in the video conference sees and hears the other participants.

You can invite three people to a conference at once, or let participants join and leave as the conference goes along.

To see if your buddy supports multiperson video conferencing, check the icon next to your buddy's picture. If the icon is multiple videocamera icons, you can invite your buddy to a multiperson video conference.

If the icon is multiple audio icons, you can invite your buddy to participate in the video conference using audio only. Your buddy joins the conference and is represented by their buddy icon and a sound-level meter, so you can tell when that buddy is talking.

To start a multiperson video conference:
Select the buddies in your Buddy List you want to invite to the video conference. Press and hold the Command key to select more than one buddy. Click the videocamera button at the bottom of your Buddy List.

You can invite three people to a conference at once, or invite participants as the conference goes along.

To support hosting a multiperson video conference, you need a Dual 1 GHz G4 or a Dual 2 GHz G5. In addition, you need an Internet connection that supports a minimum download bandwidth of 384 Kbps (128 Kbps per participant), and a minimum upload bandwidth of 1000 Kbps (300 Kbps per participant).

I can't join a multiperson video conference
If you are unable to join a multiperson video conference, your computer or your Internet connection may not support multiperson video conferencing.

If your computer and your Internet connection support multiperson video conferencing, and you still can't join a video conference, make sure your Internet connection is working properly.

To join a multiperson video conference, you need any G5 computer, or a 1 GHz single processor G4, or a dual processor 800 MHz G4, and a broadband connection to the Internet.

Joining a video conference
With Mac OS X v10.4, iChat AV lets you plus three other buddies video conference face-to-face at the same time.

If your buddies are using iChat in Mac OS X v10.4 and have a videocamera connected to their computer, and your computer and Internet connection support it, you can join a video conference with up to 3 other buddies.

iChat AV for Tiger introduces a new kind of interface for video conferencing. In its three-dimensional view, your buddies seem more like they’re in the room with you, making it easier to follow the conversation. Their images are even reflected in front of them, just as if they were sitting around a conference-room table.

To join a multiperson video conference:
Click the invitation icon and then click Accept when you are invited to a video conference. The participants are displayed in the chat window. If one of your buddies is participating using audio only, that buddy is represented by their buddy icon and a sound-level meter, so you can tell when that buddy is talking.

To join a multiperson video conference, you need any G5 computer, or a 1 GHz single processor G4, or a dual processor 800 MHz G4, and a broadband connection to the Internet.

My buddy can't join my multiple video or audio conference
Your buddy's computer or Internet connection may not support multiperson video conferencing.

You may be able to invite your buddy to participate in your video conference using audio only.

To join a multiperson video conference, you need any G5 computer, or a 1 GHz single processor G4, or a dual processor 800 MHz G4, and a broadband connection to the Internet.

To support multiperson audio conferencing, you need an Internet connection that supports a minimum download bandwidth of 20kbps per participant, and a minimum upload bandwidth of 20 kbps per participant. 800 MHz G4 computers can audio conference with up to 4 participants, 1.2 MHz G4 or greater computers can audio conference with up to 10 participants (yourself and nine others).

Hope that helps you out!
