I mostly use Omni Web or Chimera but I still havn't tried using sputnix with either of them. I was downloading a 115mb song from audio galaxy using sputnix but that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I'm wondering what you were doing with IE as well! I've NEVER in my life seen IE on OS X do that!

Actually, the only reason I used MUG was to visually show everyone what a piece of crap IE is. % bars just seem to mean more than the numbers in top

IE seems to consume more and more memory the longer you leave it open and surf without releasing the memory back to the system when its not needed anymore.
