iMac g5 Hard drive problem?

Hi all
Xbench is giving me strangely low results on ONE test of my hard drive
That is "random Uncached write" my hard drive is scoring from 60 to 90% SLOWER than other iMacs G5 in xBench database with equal specs.
Is there something wrong with my drive?
Should I start backing up files???
 
I have 3 partitions in he stock 160 Gb drive. One slightly larger than the other two. The larger one has the OS. I performed the test int the three partitions. One of the small ones has 75% used, this one scored better in comparison. The larger one, with the OS installed has 60% used, and came in second place. The third partition has 5% (five percent) used and came in third by far in this particular benchmark. (as you can see the fuller the drive the better the benchmark, weird, right?) But, as I tell you, the FASTEST benchmark I could produce for this drive was 60% as fast as the SLOWEST in the Xbench database, and the slowest I could produce (from the least used partition) was 10% as fast. So... I don't know... I started backing up files anyway but ¿should I take the machine to an authorized service?
