Hello, My name is Sara Wilson and I'm a proud owner of an iMac G5 intel,
First I'd like to explain what I was doing before this issue occured. I was running adobe illustrator as well as itunes. I double clicked a microsoft word document to open it and my computer screen completely froze; the music was still playing, *the song numb by u2, actually....* and i still had control over my mouse. After the song was finished playing, the music stopped completely, yet the screen was still frozen and I still had control over my mouse....
I manually shut down my computer by holding down the power button and when I turned it back on, the normal sound plays when you start up any mac, but after that it goes to a white screen *no apple logo in sight* beeps three times, and following the three beeps the 'heart' light flashes three times continously...I have restarted many times, and the same thing occurs.... I inserted my Mac OSX disk, yet it will not read it...I can't even eject the disk.... I have no idea what on earth to do to fix this...
If anyone can help me out, I would very much apperciate it...Thank you
