Imac graphics card

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on a new intel imac? And if so, what are the options?

nope, they are just like laptops, only in a desktop stand and no battery. all the vid card's hardware is part of the mobo.

Actually, the new iMac has a removable slot if you can get to it. There aren't any commericial cards that fit the slot and work with OSX, yet, but there's a very good chance there will be.

Only the 24-inch iMac has a removable vid card.
The 17 and 20-inch cannot be upgraded, although the 20-inch can be ordered with more vid memory at the time of purchase. It cannot be upgraded at a later time.
Even with a possibly-upgradeable vid card, replacement would be quite challenging, requiring complete disassembly of the iMac. There's no simple plug-in slot.
