I have just plugged my (rather old) epson GT 7000 USB scanner into my G4 MDD OS 10.3.7 and I noticed that there are no drivers on the epson site that support my config. so I use image capture to scan. However it seems unreliable, Im scanning some drawings and I am getting quite a lot of clipping in the highlights, when I play around with the image correction to compensate I see no visual difference to the scan - highlights are still blown...
I used to use Twain aquire with Pshop when I last used the scanner (os9) but now I don't see it listed under the import menu with OSX (Pshop CS). I have selected "use TWAIN" within the preferences of Image Capture but still nothing...
So my question is: is Image Capture flakey? and how can I get the Twain aquire tool for Pshop?
