Hi could anyone help me, I'm trying to do an imovie from some clips that i have in a CD, but every time i try to import the clips to iMovie a message saying: " can't open file 01.mpg; skipping it and continuing". I don't have any problems opening the clips from Quick-time.

Try copying the movie files to your hard drive, then importing... it may have something to do with the fact that the CD is write-protected.
